Killington Day 1

Great day to Killington today! Snow showers periodically throughout the day with a massive squall at the end of the day dumping a few inches in less then an hour, a little crowded but some of the staff found refuge in the glades off Ramshed Mountain. We took a few quick runs through the Stash, Dream Maker and Timberline. Timberline was the favorite today but we are hoping to do more runs in the Stash tomorrow with smaller crowds. Took only a few videos today but plan on using it more tomorrow!

Keep checking back about tomorrow and look for some new videos being posted

1/26-1/27 NorthEast Storm

Well, I have been stalking the MANY weather sources online today about the snow that we should have beating on us in a few hours here in Springfield, MA. I must say, they cannot make up their mind. First, 8 inches, then 3 inches, then 5, next 7. I am going to make my own hopeful predictions: 8 inches here in Springfield by 8am. Also, I will be praying for school to be canceled so I can actually enjoy the snow (gnar gnar).

If I were to pick my favorite weather source, it's this guy named Ryan Breton. Check out his blog at http://www.atkinsonweather.com/

Maybe I'll see ya in the powder tomorrow?! Hope so....

Stratton 1/21/11

Last Friday we made our way to Stratton VT because they had some fresh snow. Good times. We stayed on the Sun Bowl side of the mountain most of the day because the conditions were really nice over there. Also, the Lower Middle Brook park was calling Kevin's name all morning. Check out the Video below.

All and all, Stratton is always a good place to ride.
See ya out there.

OKEMO 1/22/2011

Today I made my way up to Okemo, In Ludlow VT. Pure AWESOME. The conditions could not have been any better in the morning, and even in the afternoon on a Saturday, the conditions were still pretty good. Jackson Gore was the place to be - lines were shorter, and the new trails on that side were GREAT. The glades were nice, the natural snow from the last couple days was still present, and the groomers were top notch.

This was my 11th time skiing this year, and besides the 22" powder day, today was the best.

Good job Okemo with your snow maintenance - Keep up the good work.
